Taylor Swift’s seventh album, Lover, released on Aug 23, may be exactly what you think of.

The album is a romantic love letter to love itself, “all the ... red, blue, gray, golden aspects of it”, wrote the 29-year-old US singer.

The music video for Lover, the title song of Swift’s new album, for example, is enough to make anyone a romantic. It starts with a little girl looking at a snow globe on Christmas morning. It takes viewers through a fantasy dream home for Swift and her lover. The video shows their life together in several color-blocked rooms. “From a fishbowl pool in the bathroom to musical instruments in the living room, it’s like a rainbow-themed Barbie dream house,” Bustle magazine noted.

Of course, there are emotional ups and downs in the music video, but through it all, the two manage to stay together. The music video even ends with a sweet surprise: The little girl from the beginning is the couple’s daughter, who’s been looking at a snow globe filled with memories of her parents’ love.
