President Xi Jinping will put forward a series of proposals on the long-term development of China and the Central Asian countries, and announce multiple pragmatic measures on cooperation between the two sides during the China-Central Asia Summit, a Foreign Ministry official said on Tuesday.Speaking at a news conference in Xi'an, Shaanxi province, where the summit will be held on Thursday and Friday, Yu Jun, deputy director-general of the ministry's Department of European-Central Asian Affairs, said that Xi, in his keynote speech to the summit, will expound on China's position on the building of a China-Central Asia community with a shared future in the new era.More than 20 bilateral and multilateral activities will be held during the summit, Yu said.
